This one-day conference will bring together some of our area’s most experienced service providers, parents and youth, with the goal of involving everyone in the System of Care. Workshops will cover topics like Trauma, Child Welfare, Mental Health, Community Resources, Education, Youth Voice, Family Voice and More!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone involved with youth who are experiencing mental, emotional, social, and/or behavioral challenges, including parents and caregivers as well as workers in healthcare, mental health, education, juvenile justice, child welfare and family and youth services.

Kalamazoo Wraps System of Care
In Kalamazoo County, families, youth, community leaders, staff from mental health, juvenile justice, education, child welfare and primary care health have been working toward transforming the way services and supports are developed and provided for over 20 years. This effort initially expanded in 2005 when our community received a six-year SAMHSA grant to further develop and expand the system of care work. We also have received two additional 4 year System of Care Expansion grants from SAMHSA in 2015 and 2020 to continue these efforts.
The 9th Annual Kalamazoo Wraps Local System of Care Conference will strengthen the foundation created over the past 18+ years and continue building the framework for our on-going efforts to empower family and youth voice, strengthen interagency partnerships, maximize resources, and create a highly skilled workforce.
