Recovery is Happening at the 8th Annual Wellness & Recovery Festival!
ISK is proud to be part of the biggest recovery party of the year on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Mayors’ Riverfront Park!
In celebration of National Recovery Month, we’re joining the Recovery Institute of Southwest Michigan, ASK Family Services, and other community organizations to host the 8th Annual Wellness and Recovery Festival on Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mayors’ Riverfront Park, 251 Mills St., Kalamazoo 49048.
This event is for the entire community and has been created by peers, for peers, regardless of recovery status. The goal is to raise awareness and diminish stigma around mental health and addiction recovery. This is also an opportunity to highlight the mental health and addiction recovery resources available to the community. Join us in celebrating that recovery is happening in Kalamazoo!
The festival features local food trucks, non-alcoholic beverage vendors, arts and crafts, child care, live music, and more! This event is open to the public and free of charge to those attending.
Entertainment includes music from Big Trouble, Robert Hawkins, and Vincent Miller, plus poet Darren Ledbetter. Visit Kalamazoo Wellness and Recovery Fair on Facebook to see updates!
