Jeff Patton named Community Partner of the Year

Sherry Thomas-Cloud, CEO of Family & Children Services, said, “Jeff Patton has a long history of being a stellar leader in the mental health field. Jeff’s knowledge and advocacy has been crucial to the Kalamazoo community and to our constituents.  I can speak for the mental health providers in this community that depend on Jeff’s tactical wisdom to inform and guide us in navigating a complicated and often evolving system. Jeff has been a true partner and champion of Family & Children Services over the years, and I can think of no one else so deserving of our Community Partner of the Year award.”

Upon receiving the award Jeff replied, “On behalf of children, youth and families served by our public mental health system and in recognition of Family & Children Services as a premier legacy organization in the greater Kalamazoo region that has devoted many years in providing these exceptional services, I am honored to accept this Community Partner award. Integrated Services of Kalamazoo continues to value our longstanding partnership with Family & Children Services.”

Family & Children Services and Integrated Services of Kalamazoo have a long and illustrious history working together to serve the most underserved members of our community.

Diane Marquess, Clinical Services Director of Family & Children Services, describes the relationship, “Family & Children Services has worked most closely with the Youth & Families Services division of ISK. Over the years, we have partnered with them to be one of the first contractual providers in our community to provide home-based treatment, facility-based respite, emergency services for youth designed to meet youth and families in their homes and in the community, and crisis residential services for youth. Thank you, Jeff Patton and ISK, for your service and contribution to our community. It is not just what you do but how you do it!”
