“Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma” workshop starts March 3
Our trauma class with ASK Family Services — “Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma” — will start on Tuesday, March 3 and continue for 7 weeks, 10am-12pm, every Tuesday. Register HERE.
This class will provide practical ideas for managing children’s emotional and behavioral responses, taking care of yourself, and more! Parents/caregivers taking care of children who have experienced trauma will learn current information about:
Types of trauma and how it impacts families How trauma impacts the brain and behaviors What it means to be a trauma informed parent/caregiverWe’re looking for 10-12 parents in total. They do not need to be receiving services from ISK. This is a good parenting class for foster care families. We will also have a virtual option. (Link will be sent out upon registration.)
